I know he's nominated Carlton but I'm rather perplexed as to why we haven't looked at him as were so intent on reeling in Clarke. He's 3 years younger than Mitch, they play relatively the same position and his body is good. He can jump so he could get a few taps as well.

But he doesn't play much AFL. he's like the guy you'd recruit if you were playing an unorthodox forward line set up and needed an eighth tall.

If you are struggling to get a game at the dogs who are crying out for tall forwards then you can't be doing a hell of a lot right.

Maybe not but obviously they want this type of player otherwise they wouldn't have targeted Clarke, did he offer more than White? I wouldn't be disappointed if he was the steaknives in whatever deal we get for Dayne.
