Rnd 6. Gws v Brisbane
Neale 7 kicks 13 handballs. 3 votes.
Same game.. Kelly 42 possessions / Cameron 7 goals.

The Bont should have won. It's a bullshit awatd. The umps job is to make the right free kick decisions not give out merit awards.

Now finally p#ss off Gill onto your next cushy job.
How about that Qantas crook speaking at the end. Sums it up really.

Umpires need to lose this medal. They have a hard enough time getting decisions right on the field.

That said I actually couldn’t care less. Would take Collingwood never getting another vote to win on Saturday. My sister has gone full nuffy and is losing her shit.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

He only had 20 possessions (7 kicks 13 handballs) and 70 ranking points (21st rated player on the field).

Coniglio had 38, Kelly 41 and Charlie Cameron kicked 7.2

He wasn’t even in the top 15 players on the field.

Neale can watch in envy as Nick mounts the platform to get the medal that REALLY COUNTS. !!

It’s ridiculous.Imagine the outcry if one of our players had won a Brownlow with stats like that from a game.

The Charlie is deeply flawed, as many others have said the umpires have pets and will vote for them whatever their performances on game day.

Until the award is taken out of the hands of both the AFL and the umpires it will remain a joke award.

I never watch the Brownlow, so woke up to read all this controversy this morning.

It’d be interesting if someone can go back & check WHICH umpires were officiating those iffy BNE games where Neal got those controversial votes.
