Or the tape of his brother in the 2011 GF…warburton lad wrote:Anyone suggesting that a player with a query over a hamstring injury should view the tape of the 2022 Grand Final and assess the input/value of playing Sam Reid.
May not have cost the Swans the flag, but certainly did not help.
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

Oppo watch:
As y'all know, Kieren Briggs will play hurt ...
But he's right-handed and the injury is to his left shoulder ...
Maybe he'll have trouble marking?
Replay of the injury at 1:26:05 of the match video:

FWIW, Braydon Preuss is one of the emergencies.

Thankfully he dropped that overhead soda in the first term 30 metres out, which I will contribute to his shoulder injury...K wrote:Oppo watch:

Graham Wright says it's a medial ligament strain and that scans will determine how serious it is. Goes on to say "it's fair to say he's in doubt" for the grand final.

Yep, I def thought about my pre-game hopes for his marking when he dropped it!piedys wrote:Thankfully he dropped that overhead soda in the first term 30 metres out, which I will contribute to his shoulder injury...K wrote:Oppo watch:

Feel for McStay.
Other injuries:
'Taylor Adams (hamstring) missed and will be racing the clock to be fit for the Grand Final.
Tom Mitchell also underwent precautionary scans on a sore back, but is expected to be available for the Grand Final.'
(afl.com.au)
Darcy Moore had a new golfball-sized swelling on his ankle to add to his old hand tendon injury... But media say he'll definitely play.
Jeremy Howe "is nursing a corked calf but played out the game and expects to be fit for Saturday."
(The Age)
And Jack Crisp... Still waiting for news on the arrival of 3rd kid... Wow, just wow... I'll always be with Leigh Matthews on this one. Family planning!! Don't have any chance of kids in late Aug/Sep/early Oct. If bubs really comes on Saturday, I hope Mikayla just orders Jack to play.
