Hey David here's a good tv show for you:

Might even give it a try myself given it's a creation from the woman behind Six Feet Under and United States of Tara.

I saw this show I thought a good few years ago. First series was great. Thought it laboured after that. Didn't watch it further.Wokko wrote:Please avoid spoilers.
Anyone who likes Superheroes and British comedy might like to give Misfits a go. Funny stuff about a group of kids on community service who get struck by lightning during a bizarre storm and gain powers. Not your slick comic book type show, more like Dr Who meets Skins

Mandy I think made reference to this show previously about a "Upper Middle Bogan" which is a tight, well written 1/2 hour show on the ABC. Good acting but tight writing. Clever & funny.

I've just finished series 1, started series 2. You're right, it's trying a bit too hard now. I'm hoping it finds its pacing and 'vibe' because it really is a great feeling show. I worry the writers were inspired for the first season and now it's kind of forced.watt price tully wrote:I saw this show I thought a good few years ago. First series was great. The Flash.
Rocks. Loving that it's now on Fox 8. While not true to the facts of the comics, it stays in the spirit and does it well. Love the little DC Comics references. Much more light than Gotham or Arrow but still has some undertones there.

Not sure if non comics fans would adapt, but give it a go. A part of how it plays reminds me of The Greatest American Hero.
