I registered around 9.15am and got category 6.

I don’t think registration times made any difference.

It wasn’t supposed to; it was supposed to be random but people were wondering if those that registered early got the best seats … No

Only a priority 3, so as Father Time marches on, my chances are slim.
So my hope of getting my guernsey (see left avatar) into the game is fading.

If , and I no it’s a big IF , any one is not happy with their ticket (including standing) I’m happy to discuss purchasing it from you

Just gotta try …
I don't have a snappy catch phrase

Any examples out there of P2 getting a seat (not standing room), or P1 missing out?

Yep, my mate has 4 legends memberships and has not received a ticket.
I was just re-reading the fine print on the letter from the club about GF tickets. It states:
"We strongly recommend all members select Option 1 - I will accept the best available ticket - including standing room at the time of registering to retain guaranteed P1 access to a Grand Final ticket."

He chose seat option only. The way I read it is that he has lost P1 guarantee by selecting seat option only.

Now my old mans 79 years old and I am 46.

Pies fans erupt over grand final ticket ‘disgrace’ as ‘guaranteed’ seats go begging
Fox Sports: 24/9/23
https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/pies-f ... 5a39b5e1ba

Some key points from the article:
- Lots of unhappy Pies fans on social media who haven’t secured a Grand Final ticket despite having a membership that guarantees them one
- Journalist Jacqui Felgate one of the Pies members who has missed out on a ticket despite being Priority 1 and guaranteed one through her membership
- Ticketek in a statement to news.com.au said there had been no issues on their end and it had been “smooth sailing”.
- MCG releasing a statement this afternoon.

From Jacqui:
- “There are major issues with Ticketek and the ballot system for GF seats,” she wrote.
- “I am a Priority 1 Collingwood Member with a guaranteed seat at the GF (just not guaranteed where the seats are).
- “The ballot was yesterday. I don’t have a seat, even after registering for the ballot and receiving both SMS notification and Ticketek account notification that my registration was successful.
- “My brother is a priority 1 Collingwood member, also guaranteed a seat but is on level 4 at the very back. A friend is a Priority 3 member and has a seat on level 2.
- “I buy a membership in good faith that I will be guaranteed a seat at the GF if Collingwood makes it, and now they have, a ticketing error on Ticketek’s side has seen many P1 members without a ticket they were guaranteed to receive.”

Doesn’t say whether the P3 member got their seat via the ballot.
