Four-way trade details...
Melb: Kennedy, 29 (PA), 50 (PA)
Coll: Howe, 68 (PA)
Port: Toumpas, 32 (Adel)
Adel: Seedsman
So we lose Seedsman and Kennedy for Howe and 68 .., hmm digesting.

And we are also getting next years 2nd round pick to from St Kilda. Presumably if we get a second round from GWS as part of the Treloar deal, we will end up giving that pick and our own second round pick to the Brions for Aish. Throw in the First round picks to GWS and it would seem our first draft pick is 47. Seems a bit ordinary even in this draft.fractal wrote:Brett Anderson @BrettAndersonIF 4m4 minutes ago

My thoughts exactly.burnsy17 wrote:Then again, straight swap Howe for seedsman and swap
Kennedy for pick 68??
That kind of makes sense?
Howe for Seedsman is a marginal win for us.
Kennedy for pick 68 is a marginal loss for us.
Not ideal, but it does make sense. In effect we've lost two blokes who are fringe and expendable for a guy who could potentially add a nice element to our forward structure.

Also, I'd add that neutrals are saying we've made out like bandits and I tend to agree. We've got a best 22 forward for a never made it midget and a fringe player who couldn't cement a spot (and who has a huge gap between the barely see it best and his worst).
I'm happy with this, and we're a lay down misere for Mark of the Year

Well the question I have to ask is, why would we even bother with pick 68? If the draft is as shallow as we have been led to believe, 68 is not worth a zac.
