Jezza I would be tempted to offer up some serious cash if I could bribe the umpires to rob the scum every week just to read there moaning every week. Please keep sending me these highlightsJezza wrote:BigFooty:
Give me an F ... give me a U ... give me C ... give me a .... ah you get the point.yet another game decided by bs umpiring. ******* jokeCan't remember the last time we played the Cats and weren't screwed over by the umps. It's just like a horror film on repeat that i cant turn off..I don't feel as shocked as I should be. Probably because I am used to seeing us getting reamed by the umpires vs Geelong
F-ers.Worse thing is you just expect the blues to lose close ones , thanks umps ! Woeful decision !!Feeling very cheated and deflated! I guess the worm will turn for the Blues at some point soon. The boys fought it out and were cruelled by having only 19 players and a lousy and unprofessional umpiring decision. Now I know how Hawthorn felt.
Without the flags of course. Two things cost us that game.
1. 23rd Geelong player in yellow.
2. Inexperience and lack of composure.
One will sort itself out in time. The other one will continue running around with a whistle.
GrrrrNot good enoughI'm pretty sure you lost because you're just crap!I'm pretty sure 1 goal decided the game.
Common sense prevails...Stop the sooky-la-la routine about the umpires, if we were good enough they wouldn't have been a part of the equation.
Makes me want to vomit watching the Cats players celebrating like they deserved the win, should be ******* embarrassed they needed that much help to win given our injuries.Blah blah blah blah etc etcIve had a gut full
No plan b
Blah blah Ratten blah Malthouse
Play for the jumper blah blah Daisey
Boyde, Pattern etc etc etc
Am I doing this right?
Dear Carlton fans,When a decision results in a goal with 2 minutes to go. Then it's fair to say that it did have a massive impact on the result. Did not exactly lose us the game. But went along way in doing so.
You lost because you're a crap side, not because the umpires lost you the game. Speaking of bad umpiring do you remember 1979?
How dare you whinge about umpires. I'll only defend your right to whinge if you admit 1979 was highway robbery and you didn't deserve to win that year.
Yours sincerely,
Every Collingwood fan

BigFooty Part 2:
Music to my ears!Thomas is a worry there goes 2.1 mill
'Honourable loss'Another honourable loss. Proud of the boys. MM is getting it right you can feel it. Menzel and Judd signing back on. Bring on 2015.
Coulda, but didn'tNevertheless, we coulda won that.
How do players like Ellard and Armfield get games where we have Cripps and Lucas playing well in the vfl
#robbery
Umpiring was completely irrelevant to the result !!
More sad than angry. The boys played with 100% commitment for four quarters a pity some of the kicking was atrocious. Maybe Garlett will get a game next week.
12 years of bad luck and long may it continue for eternity!12 years of bad luck still continues! Feel bad for our players, you could see this really hurt them
Back to tanking again are we?Excellent tanking if you ask me, almost couldn't tell. Even the maggots got on board.

Yeah, Juddy robbed, I reckon...Caddy ch7 man of the match?
Wow. Handy but ....
Great result. They were better than us for most of the night and butchered their kicking for goal. The umpires had no influence on it. Youo can't pick out one free with two minutes to go and say it cost us the game.
Losing the close ones is hard at the time but the feeling of losing them steels the players for the next contest.
We are playing good footy atm and when we run it we look pretty good. The results don't matter in terms of the ladder but the performances to finish off the year certainly do.
One big disappointment for me was the Thomas injury which was caused by a slide in to the contest by a Geelong player. We have seen this week after week get paid and misinterpreted but when it finally happens for real and the player is injured as a result, the free goes the wrong way.
I don't think there is any doubt picking up Wood was a coup. He is a much better prospect than Warnock.
Armfield is a shadow of the player he once was. He had a chance to do something tonight, plenty of game time and I am struggling to think of a piece of play he was effective in. Perhaps he will stay in if Ellard, Menzell and Thomas are all injured.
We can take a lot out of this game. Just not the points.
Go DOGGIES
GO CHEATS in R23.
The free against Sam Rowe for the bump was balls
You could easily see in the 4th that ran out of legs
I picked out an umpiring decision two minutes before the siren. I reckon it clearly cost us the game.
Crap decision that clearly cost us the game. Paid seconds after the supposed contact and by an umpire out of the officiating zone for the play. If they keep that theory running the game will descend further into farce than it already is.
One of the worst decisions of the year.
Pro: We brought the right shorts tonight.
Didn't we wear the dark shorts last time we played them?
Chip will want to come to a finals contender.Casboult's ideal as a 3rd forward and 2nd ruck, perfect role for him, but hasn't stepped up to key forward in his own right yet as we can see.
Ideally, if we lose Waite then use the money to get Frawley.
You guys, clearly, are not...
Was at the game.
Injuries killed us - absolutely no doubt we would have won by at least a few goals with anything resembling a bench. It's that simple. Geelong are so jammy it's ridiculous.
Signs are good for the future; we aren't a million miles off.
Gee I hate these hooped pricks. We all knew how it would end but we couldn't help watching.
Great effort with a limited bench in the end. Augurs well for next year. How many close ones have we lost now?
If the umpires played all similar incidental contact there would be more than 100 free kicks per game, what a load of bullshit.
Ooh, jealous much? What's the matter? Don't think Juddy has enough of those Charlies? Breaking up is so hard to do...Get on Joel Selwood for the Brownlow. Obviously the umpires have!
It's was one really disgraceful decision. How does this happen twice against the same side?
I couldnt believe what we did during that last minute when we got possession in the back pocket and were 6 points down.
...it was like we were tanking the last minute. Milking the clock
What about the altitude training - sack MM
Ha, wit! Love it.I liked McLean's game tonight.
That free was that late because Scott rang the umpire and left a message on his voicemail. Only once the flower checked his messages from the back pocket did he decide Scott might have been on to something and blew his whistle.
I'd like to jam that @#$%&! whistle in the end of his @#$%&!
Order has been restored in the universe!Besides the umpires, Casboult and White cost us tonight.
Both ineffectual.

You are probably correct. I am not impressed with the modern Collingwood Football Club, I wish I was.mandy wrote:I bet you would enjoy this thread much more if you enjoyed bagging them as much as you did us.Big T wrote:They must have a cracking equivalent thread at Talking Carlton running on us by now.

Much as I would love to rake through the Scum's misery, I am currently en route back home from Bendigo (good win by our boys by the way), and will be unable to fulfil my usual duties mining TankingCarlscum for quotes.
So, Jezza, if you could be so kind...
