We were both right. There were two separate incidents. The first was in the 2018 GF, though.

A bit perverse maybe but how good is the photo of Pendles getting poked in the eye on the injury update reportTake_a_Screamer wrote:All good news on the injury update
* Pendlebury saw a specialist after the game and has been cleared of any damage
A really clean bill of health after Tuesday afternoon's epic ANZAC Day victory over Essendon.
The only small issue to arise from the game was to Scott Pendlebury who was poked in the eye late in the game. Pendlebury was sent to a specialist after the game and has been cleared of any damage. The Club is hoping his eye will settle and he's expected to be available for this weekend's game.
In exciting news, Mason Cox has received a positive update from a specialist appointment in regards to the internal injuries around his spleen. He's been cleared to resume activities now and it's just a matter of grading up his workload as he progresses his conditioning process.
Mason's expected return is between rounds eight and nine.
Nathan Murphy (concussion), Aiden Begg (back) and Arlo Draper (concussion) have all returned to full training.
Murphy will return to full training this week and be available for selection. Begg and Draper trained fully last week and will also be available for selection, barring any hiccups in training on Friday.
Young defender Jakob Ryan's neck/shoulder injury is progressing well. He'll do some contact training at Friday's main session before being available for selection.
Joe Richards has started his running program as he works back to fitness from his hamstring injury. He's progressing really well with Round Nine being the soonest he would look to be available for selection.
Ruckman Darcy Cameron is tracking really well with his MCL recovery. He's been able to remove his knee brace for some levels of movement, with another assessment on that medial ligament this weekend. Depending on the result, he will be able to remove that brace and get back to running and other movements.
Patrick Lipinski (shoulder), Dan McStay (finger) and Jeremy Howe (arm) are all progressing well in their running programs with no major updates at the moment.
Similarly, Charlie Dean is working on an indoor program before he returns to running.

Bro piedys I’m beyond being pissed off. Wherever I end up after my time here, I promise to bring this up with the powers that be and bloody confront them about this matter of losing a player each game. Irrespective of who they barrack for, I will be cross, and nail them for an answer. I won’t be waiting 40 days and 40 nights! Also I’ll follow up and ask JC as to why he lets the maggots crucify us when of all people, he should know how painful it is. I won’t be hanging around! Lastly I’ll convince him to give us another taste of heaven on earth by giving us a flag or 5. And heaven forbid
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm
