Please don't put Betts on par with Buddy, Ablett, Wingard and even Fevola. Isn't even our best player.
In all seriousness, I think either the coach has to go because he is failing to get the team to put in the effort against lower teams, OR most of the team needs to go because they won't give the effort and they are unable to execute the basics of football which is to kick and handball.
Take your pick, but one or the other has to go because this is not workable.
For this club to survive, the coach or most of the players need to go, as these types of performances will just end up destroying the club as supporters will stop attending games (many have already stopped this year), and many will refuse to buy memberships as long as the club keeps playing worse than a vfl team.
So, this is it, we've bottomed out.........right.
The most disappointing thing that I saw today was from Carazzo.
On the wing in the last quarter (where we were sitting), Carazzo was going for a ball and Patton was coming from the other side. Carazzo looked up and just dropped the ball and stepped out of the way.
If this guy is a 'leader' at the club, does anyone actually wonder why we are the way we are.
That was honestly the most disappointing thing I've seen from anyone in a Carlton jumper this season and I hope it's shown during the week as a perfect example of not what to do.
