A no for him returning when? Certainly not Anzac Day, but provided he has ticked all other boxes he's able to return for the Adelaide game (which is 14 days after the original concussion).
Anyone concussed on ANZAC Day misses the rest of that game AND the next two.

That’s a good pick up and also a very heavy work load for the players over the next three weeks ( travel in between doesn’t help the rehabbing either )

To shed some positivity on the injury front, assume the following:

**Pies beat Essendon on ANZAC Day (with no injuries)
**Adams and Murphy available for the Crows match
**Draper, Begg and Ryan all back for the VFL next round.
** Cox, Cameron, Howe, Lipinski and Dean (2024) all further back in their comeback from injuries.

All of a sudden, our injured list is on the mend and our VFL squad looks a whole lot more imposing...

Floreat Pica folks.

One of the small “ positives “ from a number of our injuries is that they are upper body. The likes of Lipinski, McStay and Howe will come back super fit, albeit the ball handling will be a tad rusty. These guys will get run into the ground over the next few weeks. Cox and Cameron will need a couple games to get their fitness back but they will at least have an entire second half of the season to do it in.

Great news Cox back jogging around AIA and looking good me thinks he has had final scans and cleared to get back to light duties and he is top shape also sa Howe and McStay jogging as well
Cox was running up and down the oval and even partaking in some ball work
All starting to finish up here at AIA then heading to the MCG

I do retract my Cox mention he told me himself he is waiting on results on the final scan but he has had the scans and but the important thing is he is feeling fine and moving well and not limited either
He is fine just waiting on results should be released to him tomorrow

Thinnest skin on your body is around your eye. Hopefully it was just bleeding from that.

Is there even such a thing as a split eye lid ? That’s what it looked like to me.

Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury has been cleared of serious eye damage after getting a poke in the eye in the last quarter of the Anzac Day win over Essendon.

Pendlebury consulted an eye specialist and was cleared of serious damage from the blow. He will be re-assessed later in the week but is expected to be clear to play against the Crows in Adelaide on Sunday afternoon.
