100% confirmed we liked Jake, but we did a “deep background check” on his associates (is that a first? Usually it’s just the player) and went ice cold on him after that. Speaks volumes. I’m bloody happy that the club saw the bigger picture and the media attention it’d bring to our club (we’re already watched by every ambulance chaser in the media, we don’t need to encourage more headlines).

Swans have now ruled him out. GWS is his next link. If they rule it out, I wonder if he'll get out of Essendon. Carlton? Hawks? Dees? StK? Geelong haha?

Reports on fox sports just now saying that he has met with GWS.... Oh and our coach also categorically ruled him out.

GWS will not give anything more than pick 53 for him. This has cast some doubt on his move to the Giants.

The AFL is just reporting that the deal to GWS has "fallen through" and he will be remaining with the Bumblers. That could be funny at training.
