Another hearing (Luke McDonald, represented by Rob O'Neill and Andrew Harris.). Not a big name, so is he in trouble?

22 mins for the hearing; 23 mins for the deliberation.

Yup. Ban upheld. First "win" for MC.

Gleeson QC must be on the AFL's speed dial by now. And O'Neill on the clubs'.

50 for Cox

Post by think better »

Had no idea he had reached 50 - seems to have come around very quickly.

Big stage would suit him for a milestone game.
I think therefore I think - I think

I'd love for him to get a 50 metre penalty every time he gets tunneled by opposition backmen

What a great effort, particularly by a bloke from a non footy background.
If he can play at his best a bit more consistently, he will be the point of difference in the modern game that other clubs can only dream of.

That is an impressive achievement. Well done, Mason!

Fitting this milestone comes on the same match he debuted.
He seems genuinely engaged in the whole Anzac Day tradition. I hope he can have a material influence today and the 'USA, USA' chant echoes through the stands.
He's been great for our club and football in general.

Quiet game for Mason, but still got two goals in the end.

He has footy smarts. Esp. given his limited time in our great game.

Yes, only 9 disposals today but it's his contesting and knocking the ball to advantage that impresses me.
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Loved the screen/block he put on for a WHE mark and shot on goal in the 3rd, which really should have iced the game.

It's been fun to watch the first 50.

It's the next 50 games that are important. Hopefully we see Mason become a more consistent player over the course of the game and start to regularly take 10+ marks a game.

His next 50 games will be more enjoyable/notable by winning a few flags!
You have made Magpies great again! (Sorry can't help it, Trump :))
