For what it's worth Nick Daicos is currently two votes behind where the AFL.com.au predictor had him at this stage (they predicted a total of 30 votes and second place to Neale on 32). Whereas Neale is five votes ahead of what they predicted him to receive to Round 7. So seems like he's a pretty good bet at this stage.

When the female host mentioned that they have Brownlow medals scattered around the country.....it signalled a Neale win and stopped any speculation that the AFL knew the votes before the count.

Both Neale and Petracca five votes higher than the AFL.com.au estimate to Round 9. Nick is two votes lower.
