I just wonder what happened between Monday when Graham Wright said he was a required player and no other clubs had inquired about him and Tuesday when he was suddenly shopping himself around and all of a sudden clubs were interested in him. There’s clearly a lot more to this story than we’re being told.

thats literally giving away currency... i know the club might think hes a dick for the pre GF horse racing visit....but giving him away for nothing?!?!

unbelievable
Surely not!! That is not on. even if youre not happy with Ginni with his off field stuff, you dont lose a 20 year old premiership x factor player for vitually nothing.... Wright would certainly make Ginnivan a valued asset when trading, boosting his value by saying he has a year contract left.

I mean honestly he is worth at least a second rounder somewhere between 25 and 35!!

This is BS and I would love to hear the sentiment and undercurrent that the media will make of this.

I agree, gifting them a ready made goal sneak.

Stupid little fool, little prick, hes broken the hearts of so many young kids with 33 on their jumpers, what a bastard, met him at York Hotel, thought he was great kid, how wrong I was. So now, he goes to the poop and piss, a thug team that nearly crippled Naicos, to make them even better. Heck, they are our bogey team, our record against them is ABYSMAL pathetic , even this season, they had our number, yet again, now we make them better. What if we play em in a Final, big Final , we lose by 2 goals, and HE kicks 3 goals, how will we all feel then, join a ciircle singing Koombya ?? I sure hope Wright somehow bled these mongrels, I am not a happy camper.

Calm down all, Schultz > Ginni.
After 2020 we shouldnt be too stressed.

We've improved our list. Adams didnt fit int he midfield anymore, Ginni wasnt best 22 and perhaps he gets there next season but I'd be lying if I was confident.

Schultz slots into our best 10 at least. Adams had an anchor and Ginni no way.

We're in the window, not many premiership teams try and trade for pick 1. Pies more than any other side have perfected the moneyball team so I am very happy with the current state.

surely not swap 2nd rounders, as like if they finish above us next year, then we get dudded on the picks as well. i hope there is a proviso that says this, or else are we assuming that we will finish above the hawks next year.

would be a good deal this year, with 1st vs 16th, but no guarantee next year.

Pretty obvious to me that we just want him gone, and happy that someone is willing to take him

Schultz is no doubt better than Ginni, but we gave up pick 34 and a future round 1 pick and Ginni

I dont think Schultz is N. Daicos 2.0 here lol

AFL Trade Radio
"As of this morning he has agreed to be traded to Hawthorn. Both teams met last night to hash out the deal. Both clubs agreed to swap future second round picks as the basis of the deal. Ginnivan hadn't requested a trade, but has now agreed to be traded."

---
I can't understand why some Nicksters here are so angry at Ginni. Look at the facts and you understand why his management wanted to move him (afterall they are looking after themselves too). Personally, I was dissapointed to learn he is leaving. A crowd favourite and provides a lot of entertainment, plus he is young...we've heard the arguments.

I now move on and look forward to the draft picks, the pre-season, the new players fitting in the club...and ultimately ramming the opposition in Round 1. Looking forward to an exciting 2024 and expect back-to-back flags.

it's a buyer's market - not as if lots of other clubs have joined in and started a bidding war
