Not what I wanted but the swap of future seconds is only the basis of the deal. Be good if it was a swap of future 3rds as well assuming Hawthorn still hold it.

Hopefully at minimum we can at least upgrade 39 to 33 as well.

Culture is a big thing for fly, kid doesnt have it. Pissed off the coach then the Jockey outfit.

Goodbye, you're now a germ.
Yep Haff, agreed mate. I backed him to the hilt. I want to say he’s just a kid with more money than sense. But geez, that rumour is appalling if true. I’m filthy and I understand why the club is too. I just hope this doesn’t create a pro-Ginni schism in the playing group, we don’t need division coming off a flag just two damn weeks ago.

Why do we nearly always get very little for out players during trade week when other teams get overs for some of their hacks?

Grundy, Treloar, Phillips, Stephenson, Ginnivan, Adams were ALL in our best 23 when traded but we for various reasons got shafted in every one of those deals.
If Ginnivan leaves (as is most likely) imho our squad will not be as good as this years.

As Pablo said,he really must have pissed of Fly and the coaching staff for us to let him go so easily.I think going to the races on Grand Final eve was probably the final straw as far as they were concerned.

Now... package up 19 and 33 for.... who?

There are a few players we could SWOOP in and steal late.

Think this has been building for some time.

Started from the last off-season when he was caught doing lines, then was a sudden withdrawal on King's Birthday and he didn't return until Round 22, and then attending the racecourse the night before the GF was the final straw.

Once Schultz was recruited, I think even Ginnivan and his management realised the writing was on the wall.

He will always be a Collingwood premiership player which we're eternally grateful for, but no one is bigger than the club.

McRae and Wright are ruthless and natural born winners. I trust they know what they're doing here.

Rose coloured glasses there mate. Grundy was waining, Stephenson had lost all confidence and didnt want it, Phillips a good fringe player then Ginnivan. Adams and Treloar the only real best 23 and i would argue we have better options for Adams now.

Cant argue with ANY of the result. Turning the 2020 fiasco, ripped out the board and won a flag in 3 years.

I think he was fabulous in 2022, but the magic with him wasn't there this year despite the fan adulation.

CFC is obviously an opponent to gambling impact on football families especially children. If Ginnivan has signed a personal sponsorship with a gambling organisation, he’s made a rod for his own back as it goes against the club. Behaviour aside, it’s another example of poor decisions by the player and his Manager.

The AFL is reporting that the deal is all but done. Reportedly for an exchange of future second-round picks and some other picks moving both ways (presently unspecified).

So given we are giving him away for nothing, does anyone actually still believe the clubs denials about the video?
