Hard for me and I guess everyone on here to quantify in terms of pick value, at a guess

package Noble,Richards and 36 for pick 20 ?

So Houston cost future first (12?) and pick 20

Call it a mid 1st round and early second , that doesn't seem overs

If all this is true (and I'll believe it once it's papers lodged and official) then GC with three first round draft picks is definitely going to be in the hunt for one of the free agents next year. So it looks like our draft night begins in the 50's. Let's hope Stumpf is thereabouts...though to be honest, this whole experience leaves me stumpfed.

EX-BLUE'S SCATHING VERDICT ON PICK 3 TRADE
Former Carlton-listed player Ben Silvagni –

...Silvagni took to social media to vent his frustration, hinting the Blues should have pursued Port Adelaide’s dual All-Australian Dan Houston instead of trading up in the draft.

...... “Dual all Australian and premier half back wants to come to our club. Instead we trade two first round picks for pick 3 in the most even draft in years,” he tweeted.
