the player doing the smothering is at greatest risk of concussion and injury. Maynard could easily have been the one to come out second best from that.

Carowhine hates Collingwood and is trolling for clickbait. Put her on mute. Same for Kane Cornes saying McCreery’s tackle will be looked at.

Funny they’re not talking about Melbourne much. But Mason Cox bumps Mumford because they walked straight where Collingwood were doing kick to kick is the biggest controversy this week.

Lincoln McCarthy just concussed another player in the Freo game - in a remarkably similar incident to the one in which he took out Murphy (for which he should have been given 12 weeks).

Not a word about it, of course. I expect that it will eventually be revealed that it's actually Maynard's fault. Most things are.
