A really poor game from Mitchell. Has father time caught up? Remember folks we are the oldest list in the comp. Back to back will be a monumental achievement. Not looking likely on this form though, but plenty of the season to turn things around. Giants might well be the real flag favourites.
Looks like Leigh Mathews was 100% correct. Playing like we spent the whole off season jerking themselves off over the flag. Means absolutely Jack shit right now.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

I love what Fly has done for the club. Live in the moment and enjoy the premiership. I'll give them a few weeks. But if we are playing like this in round four then it will be 1991 territory for sure.
Apart from the first 15mins of the game, Sidey and Whe have been good. Beaus tackle and goal was great. A lot of poor kicking inside 50 and points. Cox has been ineffective. That Dustin Martin cardboard cutout on the Gold Coast had more presence than Johnson tonight. Having said all that I think our tactics have been poor. The ball inside 50has been the same pretty much all night. Reminds me of the lack of imagination in the Malthouse and lter Buckley years when we just refused to change game plans when it clearly wasn’t working
What a reality check. Pies been congratulating themselves all summer and it means nothing in 2024 because at the moment we’re bottom of the live ladder
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter
