That’s the game. Three times this qtr, missed an easy shot on goal. GWS run the length and don’t miss. Our goal kicking woes from the end of last season have not been corrected.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.
Is a test now. What do we do?
Do we let the game slip?
Or are we hungry to fight it out to the limit?
The final result is less important to me than the mental attitude we show in the rest of this game.
Where’s the spark going to come from. Sideys tackle sublime Schultz point $hithouse and Green goal from nowhere and they’re gone. Will be a 10goal loss at this rate. Pies at sea and all out of shape. Can see Noble coming on for Johnson soon but not really sure it’s going to do much they way we’re playing
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter
Best to let the game go and live to fight another day injury free. This is the wake up call we needed. Every other team will have improved 10-20 percent. Our margin for success was very narrow last year. So in other words our game has to improve by more than 20 percent if we want to go back to back. Next week will be extremely tough against the firing Swans. 0-2 will be a huge hurdle.
