Re: 2024 pre-season hit-out
Might just sidetrack thread with the above details, and wonder how long it might be before we see such changes during H&A season, even if brought in for finals?BazBoy wrote:Club match simulation match and broadcast timings (live on Fox & Kayo):

Now that we have changed dickhead AFL CEOs, then perhaps things might actually move forward?

Highlights from Collingwood's 2024 Intra-Club clash at the A
"The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

I only managed to see about half the game, so my observations may be off the mark.
That said, to my mind the stand outs were JDG, Macrae and Hill. I was a tad disappointed that Reef did not have a bigger impact, but Krueger and Ash looked quite good.
Allan really needs to step up if he is to get any senior time soon. Cameron is easily our best big man, and looks set for a stand out season. McCreery is still learning his midfield craft, as he struggled to find much of the ball.
I also liked the look of Sullivan, Steene and Dean.
Fwiw, I reckon Lipinski will be one of our big improvers in 2024. He looks the fittest he's been, and has apparently been focusing on playing with more physicality - an aspect which has let him down somewhat while being conscious of the fragility of his shoulders. He looks like he has regained full confidence in his body. He is a deceptively classy player.
Overall, the boys all looked sharp and keen to impress.
