Something else Ive noticed, all of a sudden Grundy is a gun, Adams is a gun... How can we possibly win without them? Mitchell is aged and passed it, McStay is a dud, but now he's out for the year, how are we going to replace this star? When he comes back though, he will be a dud.

It's the worst premiership team they've seen. Markov, Cox, Mihocek, amongst others wouldn't get a game at the other clubs... But their clubs players are underrated, AA potential.

Remember the comments when Treloar left, when Stephenson left, even when Phillips and Bosenavulagi left....

The oppo supporters are so hurt by this win, it is amazing. I dont recall this in 2010, not at this level. Carlton, Essendon and Melbourne people in particular are very hurt right now. Jealousy.

Hawthorn, Richmond and Geelong too (particularly on BF).
Absolutely laughable the worst premiership team narrative.
Imagine what winning 2024 will do to them.

I like that question they asked Steve Waugh after the 1999 World Cup Semi Final, when he had been close to being caught and the STH African muppet in his attempt to celebrate tried to throw the ball up, and dropped the catch. So, they asked Waugh, “Was it out?”. And he said: “Read the newspapers tomorrow.”

History will record that Collingwood won the 2023 premiership. Those who dig deeper will see that they played in 4 grand finals since 2009, for 2 wins. In that period Carlton and Essendon were slightly less than irrelevant. The worst place to get to as a sporting team, is where opposition supporters pitty you. I do them. And Melbourne yells out, hold my beer.
