Hmm, not a great review of the last complete season collection on the JB Hi-Fi website:

https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/afl- ... n-2022-dvd
A sport DVD, as madman entertainment apparently does not know, cannot be reproduced at 25 frames per second with a 576 interlaced field. In layman's terms, it looks like a bad computer stream. The previous distributors of AFL content knew this, and always released DVDs with 50 frames per second.
Not sure if that applies just to this box set or to all of the DVDs / Blu-rays on offer.

After your post David I’ve checked the reviews, got the same complaints on all Geelong products, including the blu ray version!

That's disappointing. Can only hope they took the feedback on board after last year and have actually improved the image quality this year!

Oh, come backs 80s & 90s; all is forgiven...

Bringing home a new-release movie from the video library, loading it in your player, only to find the previous renter's machine had chewed the absolute arse out of it, with picture flutter and audio drop out.

Payback was grabbing a mate's VHS machine for the weekend and cabling it up to yours, buying a few 4-hour blank tapes, hiring your fav films and doing a marathon bootleg session.
Sticking it to da man.

Love VHS and still buy them from time to time when I find them at op shops, but don't tell anyone! ;)
