Quite a few players cop a lot of shit and personal judgement on here, which in turn gives me the sh**ts, which is why I don't bother posting much anymore.

What Coxy has achieved is simply a remarkable story (there are so many such stories amongst this team). What he went through with that serious eye injury would've sent a lesser man scurrying back home. Yet there he was, belting the ball forward from centre bounces in that frenetic last quarter! So happy for him. His premiership medal is so well deserved.

Pie’s touching tribute as ‘emotional’ star opens up on wild rise to GF hero

“It’s intense. You don’t live here, you don’t have family here, those people become your family. Craig is one of those people,” Cox said as tears welled in his eyes.

“I’m trying not to get emotional, but Craig’s a father figure to me, he’s been incredible for myself.

His ruck work and tap outs were outstanding during the GF and went a long way towards our flag. So impressed by his work ethic during the game, just kept going.

Thought he was great in the prelim and granny. He absolutely annulled the influence of the oppo ruckmen at stoppages. Both he and Cameron also took some pretty important contested marks too.

So happy for him.

Big Mase has lived up to his promise and delivered.

Most of us had moments of doubt as the AFL changed the rules to allow forwards to be monstered and then he had his eye issue.

Big man with a big heart though - he fought his way through every challenge laid in his path and repaid the faith Fly had in him.

Bloody good job mate - well done!

His gradual improvement in the ruck is a story that will have to be told at some point. The bloke played a central role in us overcoming more fancied midfields, one after the next, helping us lift our clearance numbers and moving the ball forward at every opportunity in the granny.

Just another example of Fly and co. getting the very best out of every player's unique profile.

Pic of him on Instagram, recovering from shoulder surgery!

Big smile on his dial

If you have ever had the pleasure in meeting him, he’s just so lovely, met him in bridge road years ago. I think I was almost as tall as his arm pit!
