If by chance we can claim glory this Saturday against the Lions, who would be your preferred Norm Smith Medalist? Mine would be Jamie Elliott. A player who missed all of 2016 & 2018 with injury and a matchwinner who would frank his career and legacy with a Norm Smith Medal.
Yours?

So many to choose, but I'll go with De Goey.
De Goey winning the Norm Smith would mean he's reached the top of the summit as a big time footballer.

Got some great odds at the start of the finals.
JDG @ 14's
Sidey & Josh @ 33's
Q & Cox @ 100's
Bruz @ 250's
Don't count the days, make the days count.

Might be the obvious pick, but I’d love to see Nick Daicos win it. My own personal preferences are, like, Ginnivan or Markov, but I’m trying to be realistic.

In 2018, the WCE tagged Sidebottom and Pendlebury out of the game.
On Saturday, Dunkley will tag De Goey leaving Pendlebury and Sidebottom (relatively) untagged.
I think that Sidebottom will relish the freedom and bring home the Norm Smith Medal and a Premiership.
The important award will be 23 Premiership medals to the winning team.
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...

One of Naicos, JDG and Cox.
I hope Cox wins it: that means he marks everything and kicks 8 goals.

I think if Pendles could win it would really frank him as an all-time great. Imagine Norm Smith medals 13 years apart, that's very impressive

Obviously I think it's JDG or Daic's to be won, but also expecting Crispy to be super close too!!
I'd love to see WHE or Murph win it, but no chance a defender would win it these days.

He’s going to have to lift. It’s been mostly unspoken (maybe it’s just me) but I don’t think Josh has been the same player late in the season as he was earlier. Maybe he’s carrying something.

already put a cheeky $5 on Mason @ $101. Its just setup for him to start forward and kick 3 in the first qtr.
Cameron contests the first bounce, Mason at FF, Frampton on the bench.
Tap down to Mitchell, quick hand to JDG, throws it on the boot forward and Cox too big for HA. Bang.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.
