It's a real bloody worry I would suggest, they don't put a cast on unless there is a fair bit of disturbance with the tendon, jeez fingers crossed, 2 more games to get through

Clubs always downplay injuries at this time of the year, 'nothing to see here' then once the season is over it comes out that the player goes in for surgery.

Injury update from afl.com.au:

https://www.afl.com.au/matches/injury-list
Josh Carmichael: Concussion Test
Nick Daicos: Knee Test
Charlie Dean: Foot Season
Ash Johnson: Arm TBC
Will Kelly: Ankle Season
Reef McInnes: Collarbone 1-2 weeks
Darcy Moore: Hand/wrist Test
Updated: September 12, 2023

Early prognosis
Moore missed training on Tuesday and met with a specialist to deal with a wrist issue. The skipper is wearing a cast but is not considered in doubt for next weekend. Securing the extra week off is set to benefit Daicos as the All-Australian builds towards a return. The 20-year-old is expected to be available for the preliminary final after missing the past month with a hairline fracture in his knee. Johnson suffered a fractured arm in the VFL elimination final loss and isn't expected to be available again this season. - Josh Gabelich

Assuming Moore and Nick Daicos are available, as expected, this will probably be the first time we've ever played in a Prelim, or any final for that matter, with a full list of our best 25 players to choose from. For that matter, I think it will be the first time all year. That is an incredible achievement and something for which our fitness and medical staff deserve enormous credit. Compare this situation to when we limped thru the 2018 finals campaign, missing all our key defenders and playing Treloar, not fully recovered from an horrific double hamstring tear!

Here, here! I often wonder if one of a) Howe or b) Moore played on one of Darling or Kennedy if we might have been good enough in 2018.
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

Collision with Nobel who should be delisted immediately. Can’t win it without Adam’s.

Just heard on Fox that Ralph claims it was no corkie, and Pies are confirming nor denying nothing. FFS...losing Tay would be a disaster. Must hope that he is ok.
