Read the live ABC rundown of the arguments and evidence being put forward. There's no way they can reasonably and fairly suspend him for his efforts to spoil. The mob should be put on trial for its bloodlust:

I disagree, GW’s stance isn’t surprising but he’s generally talking to Robbo on 360 or Bucks on SEN who are in our camp so it’d be boring if they agreed on everything. He agrees that this is a test case for the league. I reckon Whately and his ilk will reluctantly accept an innocent outcome but know that the AFL needs to tie up any grey areas about head contact before next season.

Players regularly knee others in the head when leaping for marks. It makes a mockery of what the AFL is arguing for by wanting a suspension.

And yeah, Whately’s bound to lose his marbles doing 360 with Robbo for so long.
