No doubt Laura will be working behind the scenes to maximize the penalty.

A question occurs to me - I wonder if she is related to the infamous Kane boys?
Laura is a Collingwood supporter
Not anymore.

It’s about ( on the count down clock ) 18:30. in the 1st quarter , but Bradshaw looked quite lucid when he stood up ( watched on slow mo) , so I don’t think there is much in that incident . However a specialist may view it as a cumulative aspect to the cognition at the time of the Maynard knock and contributory to his final concussion. I’m sure the club will have already got the defence and appeal well under way
The incident on the twitter feed appears to be zoomed in and you only see the top half of a Brayshaw but when you watch the footage on the actual game replay you see a definitive stagger. This will go all the way to a court of law if common sense doesn’t come into it.

I just don’t get it. Jack Martin knocks a bloke’s tooth out, only gets a week. Edit: hit with two weeks

So why was that a free kick to Brayshaw and not a forceful contact below the knees free kick to Adams?

Everyone has focused on Maynard but watch Bradshaw after he kicks , he steps into the path of Maynard , I think he was trying to take out Maynard. Watch the vision and watch Brayshaw veer towards Maynard , he definitely moves into the path of Maynard after kicking it , I never picked it up until today when I watched Brayshaw and not Maynard .

princem007 has hit the nail precisely on the head.

I can't remember hearing any of the media talking heads making this very obvious point...

The behind the goals view clearly shows Maynard jumping to spoil; moving toward Brayshaw's right hand shoulder.

Maynard maintains his line but, as he kicks the ball, it is Brayshaw who veers 20-30cms across Maynard's natural direction of movement, thereby absolutely contributing to the severity of the impact.

Just as Maynard is said to have made a 'split second' decision to try to spoil, Brayshaw makes the 'split second' decision to re-direct his momentum toward Maynard during his kicking motion; changing the incident from a shoulder to shoulder contact to a front on collision.

In fact it is lucky that Maynard was not seriously injured as it was his opponent who decided to exponentially increase the injury potential of the collision.

Despite the severity of the injury etc, Brayshaw contributed to his own demise and so Maynard should be cleared.

If Maynard isn't cleared I'll sit on the Weber at tea time and slowly cook, carve and consume my barbecued arse.

He was right in the thick of the Essendon drug saga.

Absolutely no class. The incident was completely an accident.

A woman I work with knows Laura Kane well. She is a Melbourne supporter. Her daughter and Laura went to Melbourne games together. Maybe a journo should ask if that clouded her judgement. I don’t believe it did but that’s how journalism works these days.
Painful frustrating disappointing exhilarating and unbelievably awesome. - That's a Collingwood life through and through

She just represents the arse-covering proceduralism and posturing that all cowardly careerists kowtow to today.

Maynard has to be cleared, in court if not at the tribunal. If it gets to court, the clear deviation into Maynard’s path by Brayshaw after he kicked it should be enough to get it thrown out.

That’s odd because I keep hearing she barracked for Collingwood. No wonder the MRO is confused
