Most of season were isolated cases for sick bay

That’s changed with sharp end of season upon us

We lost Cameron, McStay, Sidebottom and Howe for long periods. JDG relatively, through suspension.

Cameron and JDG were flying. Howe an important COG. McStay we are only starting to see how he may have jelled with our forward line.

Here is hoping for some luck in the finals... For us and not for our opposition.

If I heard correctly tonight, Nick would play week 2 if we lose the qualifying final.

I'm not suggesting our medicos have lied but consider the following:

* Nick Daicos was picture cycling vigourosly on an exercise bike the other day.
* He is otherwise 100% fit.
* We have a very good record of players coming back from injury of late.

I think that Nick Daicos will at least be sub first week of the finals.

I just feel the '6-week injury' was a smokescreen so the Club did not have the weekly, "will-he, won't he" be good to go...

Looking forward to all three of Moore, Murphy and McCreery playing the first final. All three lads will be good to go- all three are quick over the ground- all three are First 18 quality.

We saw what the addition of the pace of Hill and De Goey brought last night...

Probably for VFL, probably not for AFL if we’re playing on Thursday I assume?
