Some of our 1953 Premiership legends, including Thorold Merrett in the middle.
Great to see them invited down to the ground prematch to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 1953 flag when we defeated Geelong.

That team was a team of heroes.
The Dees had won the last 3 flags and were in ominous form.
We got in their faces and never gave them room to think.
Classic case of a champion team beating a team of champions.
