Great news on McStay.

Hopefully he has a solid hit out in the reserves and presses for senior selection next week.

Scott Selwood on MMM said McCreery along with his ankle, was battling illness the past few weeks.
Suspect he's not the only on on the list impacted by the Winter ills.

Had a big ice pack on his knee, this may be more of an issue than his shoulder.

Interesting, iirc I think McRae only mentioned the shoulder in the press conference (and kind of suggested that it's not a big deal and just an ongoing niggle he's had for a while). Hope everything's ok with him!

Couldn’t see any stats for McStay in the VFL - did he play at all?

Maynard knee was knocked inwards by King, which I think could be an MCL injury.

McStay a late withdrawal in the VFL due to the flu.

Worth keeping an eye on any updates about Kreuger. Landed awkwardly in a marking contest late in the 3rd quarter of today's VFL game against Frankston. I suspect he may have been concussed.

I think that Kreuger looked concussed.

This may sound bizarre, but he needs to be trained to fall to the ground in such a way that he protects himself better.

The laws of Physics of an object that weighs over 100 kgs hitting the ground from six feet in the air at an awkward angle are not in his favour.

He has actually played five games in a row without injury, until yesterday's mishap.

^ This is exsactly my issue when some on here jump up and down about recalling Kruger after 1 good game in the VFL.... His injury risk is far too high for him to be risked in a home and away game, let alone a final. I would play Reef McInnes ten times before I risked bring in Kruger, imagine he goes down injured 2mins into a game? Let alone a final

All the latest from Beard in link below. Bruz’s knee is okay, but his shoulder to be reassessed Thursday. McStay up for selection maybe after a run in the VFL this week. Kreuger out with concussion protocol. Big news is Sidey resuming non contact drills and going hard, could be back in two weeks!
