Can you believe it?
"Nathan Kreuger suffered another injury setback on Sunday, this time hurting his ankle in the last quarter before attempting to play on late, with his status yet to be determined."

Looks big and bulky to me. Not overweight, just big. If he gets another year, they need to have a think about the benefits ( or not ) of him coming back 5 kilos lighter. He did come back on and move ok ( kinda ) so I would be surprised if it’s anything more than short term.Take_a_Screamer wrote:Can you believe it?

^^^
It’s best to hold off anticipating recovery times on any swollen / inflamed areas until the general area settles down. The swelling can mask the true severity of the area concerned. So from that point of view, declaring a TBC early in the week makes sense until at least later in the week when a diagnosis with some accuracy is more possible.

^ it's why the only source for this should be the Club injury report update, as it allows for post game visits to specialists, and the Club then to accurately assess where a player is at following professional diagnosis, on and off the training track.
Granted that in the past our communication on this front was an abomination, leaving it open for interpretation, but Jarrod Wades communication and impact to date has been exemplary.

Injury Update: Round 13
Will Hoskin-Elliott (Ankle) sustained a low grade ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of Collingwood’s Round 12 clash against West Coast. He has settled well and is expected to be available if he completes main training later this week.
Beau McCreery (Ankle) was subbed out during the third quarter of Collingwood’s Round 12 clash against West Coast. An MRI resulted in positive news showing a low-grade lateral ligament sprain and he was cleared of syndesmosis. McCreery will be assessed later in this week to determine his availability.
Jamie Elliott (Shoulder) experienced a spike in shoulder pain following Collingwood’s Round 11 clash against North Melbourne. Scans have shown a stable shoulder with no ligament damage. Elliott will be assessed prior to Monday’s Kings Birthday clash.
Patrick Lipinski (Shoulder) has resumed full training and provided he gets through main training this week, he is expected to be available for selection.
Key forward Daniel McStay (Finger) has continued to progress his handball drills and strength in his finger. McStay will join main training this week and will be available for selection.
Joe Richards (Hamstring) continues to build his lower body strength and exposure to speed work. He will be available following the bye.
Jeremy Howe (Forearm) continues to build his upper body strength and will increase his exposure to football related drills. He is on track to return following the bye.
Steele Sidebottom (Knee) will spend the next three weeks in a knee brace while he continues to build up his leg strength. His return to play timeline remains 6-8 weeks from the time of injury.
Charlie Dean (Foot) has increased his running mechanics work after a breakthrough with his biomechanical analysis. He is on track to resume running next week.

Collingwood could potentially drop to 300 after the break with only Dean and Sidebottom left on the list.LaurieHolden wrote:Games experience named on this week's @AFL injury list -
