Dislocated. Needs an MRI. Had surgery on it just 5 months ago.

That’s career-threatening stuff now.

FFS. A kid who hits the scoreboard frequently ain’t easy to replace.

God. Damnit.

Given that it’s a surgically repaired shoulder, there’s a better chance than not that Lipinski is out for 2023

Hopefully it’s a clean dislocation with no other damage, they pop it back in, it settles and he plays rd 1

I feel he has just extended it and needs to be popped back in
Still think he will miss round 1
At best play round 2
At worst miss the 2023 season
Given your vast medical background, I am assured by your positive diagnosis.

It's a Nick's tradition to advance a comparison with Sean Rusling whenever any player has a shoulder problem. I'd be pleased if people would make more of an effort to do so.

Seperately, we do seem to have an issue with shoulders. Better than hamstrings I suppose, but wonder if there’s something we’re lacking in our rehab somewhere?

Not sure how Lipinski misses the season. A successful shoulder reco is typically 14 / 15 weeks recovery time and whatever he has done has occurred two weeks before the season officially starts.
Hopefully it doesn’t require surgery and he misses the usual 3 / 4 weeks for a displaced shoulder that doesn’t require the knife.

Bad luck for Pat Lipinski but IMO we have a young guy who could slip seamlessly into a simalar role
