If you pay attention to McStay Hill and Frampton as part of their presser they all say
“We feel something exciting is happening at Collingwood “. All have this as a reason to come

Yep Destination Club una mas

Think of it as an upgrade to C. Brown, and you would take it in a heart beat.

Frampton and McStay IN

On the cusp of the 22

Noble, Hill, Carmichael, Murphy, Krueger*

Poor Murphy and Noble.. they dont deserve being left out.
Nah hill in for WHE for mine. I did a forecast which I will bump as everything has fallen that way so far.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

I just hope it’s not a mass exodus with Grundy then Henry it’s a big fall out from missing the grand final by a goal big price to pay

It’s a big loss although neither of them featured in the last two months of the season.

I think it’s a critical mistake if they send Henry packing. Also reinforces the thinking that if any player wants to piss off, they can do the same as what Henry did. Disgusting effort by Henry who was so well looked after by us. I certainly hope he is not as good as we thought and that Geelong won’t get the benefit from us being screwed big time
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

However, this will be paid up front clearing the decks.

All in all, much better than a 3 pick upgrade.
That’s the mail I had as well around 3 days ago but I was told $150k was our max payment per year
We’ve cleared space for 2024 onwards paying $650k out of 2023 cap which we had allowances made for Grundy wage anyways
It’s a massive win for the club in terms of balancing our cap
Was about to start a new thread, but saw this.

Why isnt it made public what we're actually paying? And why are the media outlets throwing out/guessing big numbers?

I've read other posters talk about the Treloar money has also been paid... is this true??

Its something I really want to know. Treloar/Grundy, what are/have we paid??

Club will send Ollie to the draft for nothing if Geelong don’t improve pick 25, according to Tom Browne. I’ll be bloody proud of this club and Wrighty if they make this statement.
