^ 100% Orie.
No complaining to the umpires or getting sooky.
Speaking of which, did anyone notice during last weeks game, the Carlton players throwing their arms up, looking and complaining to the umpires whilst the ball was still in play waiting to be won?
Unreal.
How about you go win your own ball? We had them, then and there.

I really like his attitude toward not only his teammates but the opposition, they are all trying to rip his head off, push him into the dirt etc but whenever he sees a player down he doesn't do the same. He actually offers them a hand up and gets ready for the next contest.

To me, that speaks of high character that he doesn't hold a grudge or bitterness towards the opposition for their tactics against him.

In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Can add nothing more to all of this, and love every single comment here. Just want to say that I love this kid as well. He is an absolute treasure.

The lead photo of the umpire lecturing Ginni on ducking but ignoring Selwood sums it all up. If anyone can copy and paste it, I can’t get the file size right.

On a broader subject, no one can say that umpires are not influenced by subconscious bias after watching the Selwood - Ginnivan fiasco. Subconscious bias is a scientific fact, not an opinion. Interesting reading.

That unconscious bias extends to teammates too, anyone in the same colours.

I am amazed at how cut and jealous some people are.

It hurts them so much to see him win. It pleases them so much to see him lose, or be injured.

Crowdfunder - plastic surgery for Ginnivan

Post by Mr Miyagi »

If we all chip in, we might be able to hire a surgeon in Bangkok to make Ginni look like Selwood,

Or do a Face/Off like the John Travolta/Nicholas Cage movie for Ginnivan with Selwood’s face. It’s the only way he’ll get a fair run with the umps.,

I just wouldn’t send deGoey to chaperone Ginni in Bangkok.
Great idea though.

I’m getting The Hangover 2 vibes. We have a bloke on our game day staff who looks like Alan too. ;)

Might be cheaper if Ginni wore a cardboard mask of Selwood’s head.
