And they've started a new, potentially great streak with 4 losses in a row to miss the finals by 0.5 percentage points! Just hilarious. I've got to say - I'm indebted to Melbourne for their efforts at the end last week, too: we wouldn't have been able to apply the coup de grace without their setup.
^ Not according to BT (I know he's a bit useless - but I assume the stats people at Fox work these things out before he's allowed to say them) - Edit: sorry, W, I wasn't intending to disagree with you - I was responding to Donny's post.
Meanwhile, this from the post-match thread deserves to be repeated here:

We are not in the finals this year.
We are not, not in the finals this year.
We're the team that's just let you down.
We've just been screwed by Collingwood town.
Jezza, I'm so looking forward to reading what the Carlton fan who said this after last week's loss:
Easily the most soul destroying loss of the last decade. Proud of the effort, thought we tried our guts out and we should have won that game. We choked. It hurts
thought about today's loss. If last week was the loss of the decade, today must be the loss of the millennium.
If anyone has appropriate editing skills, the footage from this evening's edition of Fox's The Bounce of Andrew Gaze doing the ladder is hilarious and deserves a post here. It really is worth a watch. Dunstall and the gang don't like the 'pies, as we know - but they Really. Hate. Carlton.
^ I didn't watch to the end. Those sorts of programs mostly bore me - I only meant the section of about 1 minute during which Gaze goes through the ladder, as it stands after the round.
