If anything, this thread proves that different people can look at the same thing through different lenses and see different things. Here we have a number of differing opinions, none of them necessarily wrong.
It also proves that people tend to process information emotionally rather than rationally so trying to argue is actually useless.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

They'd be jumping over Robbo The Drunk, and Jon Cockhead Ralph for pole position there; after they gleefully engineered all this media bullshit on 504.Durka wrote:If we were living in an earlier time and different place it’s not hard to see which poster would be clamouring for front row seats at the Salem witch burnings.
The sooner arsehats like these two are hit with legal proceedings, for their inane sanctimonious media comments, endangering the psychological welfare of ANY sportsperson, the better.

Should that ever happen, and we ALL pray it never comes to that, it will be THE most sweeping change to media and journalism accountability this country will ever see.
As things stand, it's still the Wild West in print, social and TV media, with lynchmobs ruling the roost for shit that is absolutely irrelevant to what they are supposed to be reporting on...

Yep, with all the important shit happening in the world right now, we are worried about a guy in Bali who did nothing wrong and two kids playing a TikTok game. Hopefully the coming recession takes a few of these f@#kers out and they realise there’s more important things to worry about in the world than muck rake.piedys wrote:Should that ever happen, and we ALL pray it never comes to that, it will be THE most sweeping change to media and journalism accountability this country will ever see.

Looks like he won’t be back for a while.New outrage is building.
Was it his arm that appeared behind the reporter at the State of Origin?
Either it was, or if it wasn’t he made her do it.
