No twist. Just asking you to give a rational explanation (not an emotional one based on your 'feelings') on the difference. You know, words. Words like the law uses to codify offences. Because if you can't put your perception of what constitutes a sexual assault and what doesn't into words it's not yet a good idea. We can't live in a world where we are asked to be mind readers, particularly your mind.think positive wrote:cmon lets twist again, like we did last summer, lets twist again like we did last year!Woods wrote:I'm confused. Coach Craig McRae said yesterday regarding De Goey, "I just want to wrap my arms around him".
If he does that without first asking De Goey's consent, is it sexual assault.
as an aside Mcrae is a good hugger, i got one at training, yes, i asked first for a selfie, he came in for the hug!! i love McCrae, love every thing he has said, love the way he has handled all of it, love his pure joy he shares with the boys after a win, love his encouragement!!

trying to expose another persons private parts/genitals/boobs/crutch/ or what other name you have for them, this is indecently touching another person,
a hug if permissable by all parties is not.
if you dont want a hug, and one is forced, its not indecent, but it is unwanted, it is invading a persons personal space, unless groping is involved, in which case see the first sentence.
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

Do we actually know what the clubs advice to De Goey about Bali was?Magpietothemax wrote:Thankyou, pietillidie. Your post adds an extra, appalling layer to what already was a disgusting dereliction by the club of its duty of care towards JDG. What has happened to JDG seems quite horrific, given the information that you have provided about ADHD.
Who told him?
When did Jordy make plans to go 10 days ago 6 months ago?
Does anyone know what the clubs protocols for ADHD are?

Collingwood has released a video of Jordan De Goey addressing his actions in Bali, with the 26-year-old apologising and flagging “a lot of work moving forward”.

Apparently, the club's protocols are to publicly humiliate and shame people with a condition associated with a far higher occurrence of Rejection Sensitivity Dysmorphia, anxiety and depression, and suicidal ideation, planning and enactment.neil wrote:Do we actually know what the clubs advice to De Goey about Bali was?Magpietothemax wrote:Thankyou, pietillidie. Moreover, even if the person does nothing wrong and simply engages in consensual and openly negotiated flirtation with someone, they will still be submitted to public shame and humiliation, and forced to apologise.
Furthermore, the protocols include setting said person up for future mob bullying and humiliation due to there being no definitive cure for the condition.
If you were a deranged sadist in a lair somewhere you couldn't have engineered a more dangerous and appalling 'protocol'.
