By the same token, he and everyone else knows full well that any further "incidents" will be unacceptable, and that that's the case whether he's in Ibiza or an Antarctic research station.

'De Goey has even found a local club with which to keep his touch and fitness up while he’s away.'
Good luck to Jordy - he needs this trip in order to show the Club that he has learnt from his past misdemeanors, and can be responsible for his actions.

Good on the club. This whole "might succumb to temptation" is just treating him like a child.
He knows damn well what the consequences would be if he stuffs up, he needs to be adult enough to be able to have fun without going OTT and being stupid.
Going to a Bali resort is likely safer than the Gold Coast. I'd rather spend a few days in Darwin or Port Douglas personally.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Well deserved break for JDG to Bali. I am sure Fly told him that before he boarded the plane.
I am not worried about the possibility of any delinquent behaviour from JDG. I think his efforts on the field to date prove that he is buying in to the team spirit and therefore the team expectations and standards.
I am seeing amazing team cohesion in our players right now, and team cohesion is a very important driver force for responsible behaviour.
Have a great break JDG, and return even fitter and more determined than ever.

If a person prone to inability to act responsible when on the grog would it matter what part of the globe they were
Could be Bondi Beach ,Surfers.or Port Douglas (where Bruzz is)
We really have to just let it run
PS. He’d have to be back most likely Sunday ready for Monday training at the club
