At the risk of being a wet blanket, I don’t think we should rush him into the seniors until he settles in and performs well in the seconds. Confidence is really important to new players. Hopefully he will be a great pick up.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

Given that the talls we were apparently interested in went early to other clubs, I'm glad we didn't just pick a tall for the sake of it. After all, we should soon have Grundy, Dean, Kelly and Johnson available, so we will have numerous tall options at the ready. From the highlights package, Josh Carmichael looks a beauty. Another big bodied midfielder, who is a thumping kick. Reckon we might have picked up a gem.

According to Dekka, Josh is currently 191cms. Bontempelli is 193 cms for comparison.
