It's possible but very unlikely you'll find a quality tall at pick 9 of a mid season draft.

Go best available player at that point unless you have a plethora of players already filling that same position.

Get the feeling Carmichael might well have been the one we had our eye on the most.

P.S- FWIW apparently the Essendon and Adelaide supporters over at bigfooty aren't happy that they didn't select him. Excellent!
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

As I said, looks a bit of a bull with a good shoe. Hoping he can partner up with Adam’s under the packs.

This M S D was considered pretty slim pickings. There were even a couple passes late in the first round, so a quick read of the room would suggest clubs didn’t believe there was much left by the time the second round came around.

Good size and may be earmarked to pass both C Brown and Bianco by before the end of the season.
And if this is the outcome we’ll be more than happy.

Well I think he’d be unlikely to get AFL straight up

We have Dorks then Dees then a bye whereas VFL have just had theirs

Possible he will display his talent for a few VFL encounters

Or hey he may debut on QB game

Couple of bombs from outside 50 in his highlight reel. Looks like he has a thumping kick. Time will tell I suppose.

He reminds me of our future captain Jack Crisp, similar height and weight and play style. This kid is a bargain, he’ll get a chance this year if he takes his opportunities in the rezzies. And he will, he’s got a terrific work ethic. He’s a fighter.

There where no Talls except Durdin after this Pick so clubs also did not rate the KPP left

Is he as good as the Bont?
Put him in the seniors without wasting too much time and let's find out.

Welcome to the club Josh.
