Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

He is a footballer with less brains than the average footballer, therefore you can’t fix stupid.
We either keep him for what he can do on field and put up with these brain fades or we get in the perfect citizen who can’t play footy ?
Dusty came back from this sort of stuff … over to you JDG.

Go Pies...Premiers 2010
Dusty pulled his head in several years ago. Sadly De Goey seems to be on a path to ruin.princem007 wrote:He is a footballer with less brains than the average footballer, therefore you can’t fix stupid.

True, Dusty had issues, like that chopstiicks incident in a restaurant, when he rammed them next to a womans head. He was a loose cannon, but lifted himself up and became a team player and star. JDG has let himself and the Club down, can he change, its not too late, but the ball is now firmly in his court, and the law Court too. Time will tell.princem007 wrote:He is a footballer with less brains than the average footballer, therefore you can’t fix stupid.

Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

For years some posters have been judge, jury and executioner. Like JDG, they too never seem to change. So maybe like Nick’s, the club should deal with it in house and move on because there are no realistic solutions except for JDG to do the work himself like Martin did. Also he fits in well as a player who can come under the care of Collingwood’s new development management regime.princem007 wrote:He is a footballer with less brains than the average footballer, therefore you can’t fix stupid.

Let the law courts do their thing and see where we are at. We need some dickheads playing for us, without them we don't win in 1990 or 2010. Every flag team has them, it's just about a prerequisite for winning it all. As long as he turns it into playing like a machine these things are on his personal life and not on the field.
Get back on top.

Look at the chin mask, yep he’s really contrite
Hmm, ok then, not what I had in mind
“De Goey, who is off-contract at the end of 2022, said recently he hoped the trip to the US would help ignite career-best form next year.
“There’s a lot of talk about how I’m travelling at the moment and to be honest I’m feeling really good," he told 7News.
“This is a completely different kind of training that I’ve never done before.
“Anyone knows that their last 12 months of a contract is an important time.
“For me really it starts from now with this pre-season.””

No one I don’t agree. 2 assaults on women, 2 fights with men, let’s not forget the frisbee dog, and a drunk driving charge, that’s a lot of smoke,Cam wrote:Let the law courts do their thing and see where we are at. He’s a damn disgrace, I am so passed off, just when things are turning around

So pissed off at this. Dead set moron. Gets a second, third chance and does this crap. Obviously not a quality individual and despite his promise has continually let the club down. This is simple really, we should now have plenty of cash to keep Moore around and the number 1 pick next year. Let him rot over there.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.
He has stuffed up his next contract at best and finished his career at worst. Great shame from a footy perspective as he was looking in good nick to have a big year. Now, it may be better to cut the cord if the club finds out that the facts do not show him in a good light.
Daicos, impossible angle ... Goal!
