Jordan De Goey isn’t resting on his laurels after a blistering second half of the 2021 season.
The 25-year-old Collingwood star is working hard in his off-season at The W Training Facility in California, an athlete-focused gym owned by Johnny Louch, as part of his Monster Energy partnership.
Vision from Louch’s Instagram account shows De Goey completing resistance training, box jumps and balance drills with battle ropes during a testing workout.
De Goey appears to be in career-best shape as he looks to build on a strong football year.
I’m generally supportive of the Collingwood players, but first thing that comes to mind here when I read this is, if we do better than better than expected next year, where was the effort under Nathan Buckley?

Life's pretty much back to normal over there. Turn on ESPN and watch a game of MLB or NFL... packed stadiums.
Watching the Braves v Dodgers now. You see the odd person or two with a mask on amongst the 40,000 packed in there.
With our borders supposedly closed , i didn`t think anyone could go overseas or return home, let alone our elite athletes. Not getting political. Just surprised they were allowed to ,given the AFL hub situation the last 2 seasons.
I blame my hair loss on supporting Collingwood for 50 years
