Excellent news
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
I think the rumours about the exodus of Knights, Enright and Scarlett from Geelong seems legit- Chris Scott does not want coaches who are younger than half their playing list...
I would welcome the following at the Pies with open arms:
Mitch Wallis (unrestricted free agent) can play in the middle or as a forward who actually scores goals.
Pat Lipinski- offer Western Bulldogs a third rounder or walk him to pre-season draft.
Sam Weideman- future third rounder
We need to look at who we can trade out for more draft picks (points) for Daicos and, possibly, Dib
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...
Weideman doesn't enthuse me. Every time I've watched him play, I've come away unimpressed.
Keen on Lipinski to strengthen our midfield, and wouldn't mind Wallis and Tom Lynch from the Crows to bolster our forward stocks and they'll come cheap which is a bonus.
