Teague gone for sure, which I guess we should be sad about, but it's not every club who wins 5 wooden spoons in 2 decades and has still had more coaches than spoons

Why do I bother.
Time to look at blokes who are there for the pay cheque only and get rid of them. No point swapping the coach as nothing would change. Culture would still be the same. We might a new one, kick in for a short time then the next year drift back to old habits. Time to put it on the players who don't want it badly enough.
Sack Teague, he’s lost the players.
Trade Cripps, he’s too slow and not a team player.

It's all good. We are having a review.
We can’t even impersonate a professional modern AFL team. We have NFI what we are doing.
STILL can’t even execute the bare basics of football. Repeat the same fundamental mistakes over and over again.
After all the scrutiny. The bye. The external review.
Basket case. Rabble. Broken.
Entirely the players fault. Do this to every coach. Two sides you would not coach in a fit would be Carlton and St.Kilda.
Ratten must've been a genius to get those two sides into 4 finals series in 6 years as they have the worst imaginable cultures.
In my view, this is the lowest point ever for this club
That is saying something considering the last 20 years
Vying for a bottom four position after 7 years without getting close to a finals position is as bad as it gets
Poor culture, poor player development, poor game style, poor list

They'll be a point where Cripps says "f this". He is probably waiting now. He knows if he signs another contract it could be a few more years of this effort and takes up alot of what's left of his career.

So we need an incredibly strong leader to change the culture.

Our best player is on our Rookie list followed by a guy that has played about a dozen games, says it all.

This whole club is legitimately detrimental to my wellbeing. Simply can’t take this utter shit much longer.
Best thing about this loss is it’s one step closer to blowing up the entire coaching box and starting from scratch

The recruitment of Betts is an example of a club that has lost its way
We were supposedly in rebuild mode and recruit a player past his best

When you consider the pressure around the club over the last few weeks, that was absolutely terrible.

GWS had nearly twice the amount of tackles and won the disposal count. Lack of effort and intensity an all too common feature.
Where do we go from here? Review on the horizon and we dish up such dribble.

The lack of intensity is what hurts.
No urgency.
No pressure.
No chance.
That’s the end of Teague, with a review underway, for the players to be so listless tells them everything they need to know.
The players know their coach is under huge pressure, and they come out and just go through the motions. If I was Teague I'd be tempted to just resign.
The players either don't back you, or they don't care. Either way, not much incentive to keep coaching the group.

I can’t be f’ed anymore. It’s been an exhausting couple of decades, still hope the club eventually turns the corner but not a healthy hobby anymore.
To those that think it’s a cop out, I get it and I’ve felt similar when I’ve seen other people post similar sentiment but I just can’t have such a negative impact week after week anymore. Not fair on my family and especially my kids.
With the season in the line against West Coast we laid 41 tackles and showed utterly zero spirit.
We let the coach survive and announced a weak as piss 'external review.
Next week- same sh*t. 77 tackles to 42. Zero accountability.
The players make horrendous, woeful errors in effort, aptitude and game plan. The coach sits there with a doe-eyed grin on his face.
Our Seagull of a captain makes basic errors in skill, refuses to tackle or out his body on the line and stays out on the ground for a chat afterwards. Our other captain gets an utter bath by his opponent makes basic skill errors and holds the club to ransom over his contract for half a year. Screw them both. No wonder none Our young draft picks are all busts. All they learn from our leaders seems to be how to collect a pay cheque.
No one ever gets held accountable - they're really just there to steal our money at this point
For ten minutes the players threw the game plan out the window and went rogue. At 3 qtr time Teague wasn't impressed. Then normal transmission resumed.
What a pack of fragile blokes they are. What a sh*t game plan. What a listless club. Players need to share in it. Have another mutiny players. You’re all sooks.

You'd think for a club in the midst of a crucial external review where coaches are under the hammer; and for a playing list who basically appointed Teague, they'd come out to play with some more intent when it counts.
Either he's lost the players or his game plan is so sh*t, it's detracting from their ability to play with any consistency of effort, intent and ability for more than 10m per game.
Last week upon reflection I was keen to see him stay, but there's a rot at the moment and I'm not sure assistants around him can fix it.
The DT way just aint working and 2021 as a sample size has piss all evidence to suggest it could work in the future.

Another dismal display and another review in proggress. We have changed everything that could be changed in the last 20 years and same sh*t every year....players and coaches together with management come and go, but supporters stay for life so the saga and pain continues lets see what bullshit this review is going to spit out! I was looking forward to seeing the players tear it up knowing the club has commenced a review. Was hoping to see tackles, 2 way running, defensive intent, hitting up players in space. I am so disappointed.

Has it occurred to anyone else that perhaps the reason Teague is so bullish about our offensive game plan is that it works brilliantly at training because we're up against our own defensive pressure?

We need to accelerate this review now. The club has to either come out and stand up for Teague and give him more help with better assistants or end his tenure now. One or the other has to happen

Players looked like they’ve quit on the coach, like in 2012, 2015 and 2018/9. Like clockwork - every 2 or 3 years

Mark logiudice should stand down tomorrow. Him sticking around when we know this is his last year makes no sense. We should be 100% focused on 2022 everyday from now on. Fresh eyes and all that.
He should not be in the job by the end of the week.
