^ DO Norf know they are merging, or is this a touch of sarcasm ?

Latest breaking news on the most reliable footy site on the internet, Big Footy haha. Someone put two and five together to make three (coach gone, player cleanout, must be merging!)

Look at the fit.
A young and a not yet mature English who I reckon could end up winning the brownlow in a few years and Mason Cox who can clearly play forward and can ruck. What a great fit.
English doesn't have to over ruck and get worn out and he can definitely play forward.
2 players who can play forward and in the ruck would be a great combination.
Meanwhile back at Pieland we have Grundy who can play only one position and no real backup.
Well done Pies ....don't over think it.

This rumour was propped up by Rendell on Monday and was quashed by Tuesday by the Dogs.

^ Rendell seems a bit of a shitstirrer lately, like that Barrett character, desperate to write speculative crap bout the Magpies.

I agree that Cox has ruck potential. It's the position most suited to him, and it's the easiest position on the ground to learn, unlike key forward, which is really hard to learn when you're foreign to the game.

I did. There was a second one when he was not contesting the ruck, so it's not a ruck thing.

It looked like he'd gone backwards. He needs to ruck more. It was his ruckwork when Grundy was out for two games that secured his second contract.

That's also why ruck is easier. They can body you around the ground but not at the centre bounces.
