They should be getting subsidised by the league then, not the clubs

The AFL doesn't and will never have global success or billions of dollars, no matter how much Gil cries himself to sleep over it

...would like to see Ben Cunnington trialed in the Cox role, I think he could do the business

The two big factors of our improvement in last fortnight are Cox being played close to goal which has bought others into the game. JT is one

The other factor is the Adams/Elliott ability to muscle the ball out at clearance

The problem is this happens too rarely (unless the game is against Richmond).

At least this last game demonstrates how to use Cox.

No more bombing it on his head to be triple teamed and blocked. Make him lead to space - if defenders don't go with him kick it out in front. If they run with him - kick it to De Goey or Checkers.

Yes, this game does demonstrate how to use Cox: play JDG in the same forward line.

Read The Age on Cox’s eyes. He couldn’t see earlier this year out of one eye. It is good now but his surgery was very serious last year. The big man will be a great asset for us this year and next year.

Cox goalless in a game that mattered. The loss not his fault, but again, he fails to back up after a good game.

Dixon scragged one from a stoppage. Apart from that very similar games.
