Otherwise, Ruscoe in and WHE to the wing.
The main issue for me is: when can Adz get back. We are desperately missing dynamic run from the middle. If he and JDG get back, even without sidey and Jem Howe, I would not write us off for going deep into finals.
I certainly gave a thought to Adz not being there tonight! We missed him, even with his dubious foot disposal at times.
I like the idea of Ruscoe in and WHE to the wing. Although Trey didn't have
"managed' next to his name in this week's team selection, surely that's what they were doing???? He couldn't have been omitted because of poor form.
I'd certainly like to Mayney back, as he shows the way with his heart and courage, but that was a pretty serious injury

Just 3 kicks tonight. Looks like the compression period and being the sole ruckman is taking its toll.

It’s not just the hit outs but it was his possessions around the ground it was like having an extra midfielder, that has gone this year.
Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy.

It's the terrible truth MTTM. our two worst players this year in WHE and Phillips haven't been dropped and it's only taken an injury to make it happen. Ou r injuries aside both had to be dropped earlier in the season but saying that we are probably having to play them during the compressed scheduling because they are senior players and we know what we're getting. Glad I'm not a selectors asshole.

Wow, Hiss. I am not sure if you are serious, or you are not. Are you portraying a caricature of Trump, or is this what you genuinely think?

Can’t believe no one has called out Tyler brown. Doesn’t lead, ball watcher, fumbler and nothing like his old man. Waste of space how does he get a game?? WHE another clown that handballs backward or to the opposition! Doesn’t kick enough goals. Stevo stinks too

Only Maynard pendles noble and crisp can hold their head up. Cox was ok and needs to play but would drop lynch for ruscoe. Also bring back wills until sier is ready.

Though Fagan coached well with 2 players down for an entire half

There's probably not a single player in the AFL who is worth $7 million.

Well, I wasn't impressed with either Brown boy last week, but many thought they played well????
All I can surmise is that the team selectors are trying to bring them up to AFL standard by playing them, much as they persisted with young Daics, who has certainly come through his initiation well.

Yeah Millane, but that was compensated for by their extra recovery time. Would not place too much significance on that.
No one kicked enough goals tonight, and that was including Brisbane. 6 goals to 5 is not a demolition.
Tyler Brown is clearly young and very inconsistent, like his bro. They were fantastic last week, but they are unable to maintain it consistently, and the pressure unleashed by Brisbane was another factor. clearly, we cant rely on these two young guys to hold the fort going forward. They are defending the ramparts until JDG, Adz get back.

Disappointing to lose. The game was there for the taking if we cleaned up our disposal efficiency and learnt to hit targets.

We won't be winning the flag, so the best we can hope for is a finish in the bottom half of the eight.

Didn't see anything from Lynch to leave me impressed. It's annoyed me that Ruscoe has been dropped and hasn't returned to the senior side. A lot of other players such as Phillips, WHE and Stephenson were all very poor.

Can't say I'm too fussed about this season overall as I always thought the season was a joke in itself but I understand why they went ahead with it for financial reasons. Think the Premiership will be treated like a night Premiership akin to the Escort Cup from decades ago.

I'm happy we're still thereabouts competing for a top 8 spot and the fact that we beat Carlton has made the year decent.

Dean Margetts (6), Brett Rosebury ( 8 ) are still putrid collingwood hating shit sacks.
These two arsewipes decided, in their wisdom, that the entire rulebook went out the f^cking window tonight, as if the game was played in torrential rain.

And that uber cocksucking freak Carey commentating on how McInerney "manhandled" Grundy, and did him over. What utter shit.
All that lanky flog did was submit to rear position on the boundary line throw ins, then push Grundy in the back all night, without any fear of retribution from those two putrid maggots.
I would have been ejected from the stadium. That's basically why I can't attend games anymore.

Ruck frees are an absolute joke, when the ump blows the whistle no ruck knows who’s going to get the free... just let them compete!!
I did notice Grundy get shoved in the back and gets called play on...

piedys wrote:Okay kids, let's keep things in perspective here - we were coming off another 5 day or less break [all thanks to McFloglan], showed some ticker, and battled it out, we've played worse than this before, and won.

Brisbane's disposal standard was pinpoint elite, coached by a Clarkson prodigy, who has turned a basketcase club around in two seasons.

We are coached by a deluded borderline narcissist, surrounded by sycophants, who allow our disposal standard to fluctuate week by week, like volatile Wall Street stocks.

He could nominate for the national draft, and Hine would probably trade that pick away, or draft Judas Priest, who spends two seasons on the injury list...

Don't you mean Piedsy that he would have drafted Judas Iscariot who plays 5 games, is dropped, and then seeks a trade to Carlton where he becomes a megastar??

   Yeah, I could see that happening Piedys!!!

The decision against young Daics on the boundary line in the last minutes of the game was an obvious error and a crucial one, given that we were pushing so hard there at the time.
