On our last visit to Namibia we made spaghetti jaffles in an old cast iron jaffle maker we picked up in Cape Town ( trying to explain what it was to Namibian border control was fun ) over a beautiful camp fire whilst listening to the critters having a chat.
I dreamt of it a few nights ago and have been craving a spaghetti jaffle ever since so made myself one tonight - sadly it wasn’t as good not even remotely as good!

They're bloody tasty and huge. From Paddy's Meats in Bundoora Square (next to the coles)
The often have pre made casseroles too, like curried sausages or lamb that you just take home and whack in the oven for 45 minutes.

The website doesn't seem to have been updated for a while, they've won more wards since 2015 http://www.paddysmeats.com.au/ but give them a buzz and see if the online orders is working.think positive wrote:do they uber across town???stui magpie wrote:They're bloody tasty and huge. Mention me, tall, blonde mullet, collingwood supporter, they'll likely charge you an extra 10%
But seriously, they have some good stuff. They just upgraded their smoker and are doing their own hams, smoked chicken and Kabana variations.

Hah
The old girl has her order in for a steak sandwich with egg.
I'm undecided if I cook the Rib eye in the fridge and have it with mushrooms, chips and corn on the cob or just whack a Pie in the air fryer

Made a mexican seasoned minced meat stew and curried sausages over the weekend.
Had some mince for lunch today with toast and a cup of tea, curried snags for dinner tonight.
Hopefully a decent sleep tonight, get moving gently tomorrow and cook something for tomorrow night. Maybe slow roast pork loin with beetroot.
