Oh I see. You mean like throw Howe into completing the GWS game and we get that win.
Injuries during a game are part of footy, has been for over a 100 years.
If you’re disappointed we won, come back when we drop our next one.

The switch of Billy into the mid-field has been a master stroke!!! He didn't have much of an influence when playing forward in the first few games of season 2.0. but has really grabbed his moment in the centre. A couple of times in that last quarter when the Cats were coming, he just grabbed the ball and kicked in one motion, sending it .... Yay!!!!
I agree. Pleasantly surprised how good it’s been really.

How good was that last Centre bounce? Grundy to Crisp to DeGoeeey

Yes, Elliots smarts and second efforts have gone a little under the radar in the last two weeks. Just one of those players that you like in or around the contest.

Perfect I'd say!!!! BTW, the stamina of Brodie just amazes me. After playing continuously in the ruck all game, he was bouncing around like a young colt, as the boys came off the ground. :D

great 4 quarter effort to take the points. Grundy's tap to Crisp.coming off half back a highlight for mine and pointing a way for the future. throw wild cards like that and banging it forward we have seen more this week and last into the centre mix to wrest the clearance advantage back. much better than tapping the ball to his feet. great team effort

Happy with a win against a team that has consistently been playing in September.

Thought we were the better team without outing the scoreboard pressure on (same old story)

But we kept at it and got the win. De Goey, what a comeback game! This is what we have been missing the last few weeks.

Our defence is just fantastic, I get nervous watching us go forward instead of other teams going forward lol

Maynard is bull who gives 100% every time. And crisp had his best game this year as well.

We left cox out, so we had a smaller forward line, why do we kick high up and under kicks into the forward line??

An important 4 points in a tough season. Go pies!!

De Goey was the highlight of the night. After a turbulent few weeks, it was good to see him live up to his hype and expectation. One of his best games he's played in over 12 months.

Very pleased that we finally won a match in the wet. It's been evident recently that we've struggled to overcome these conditions in other matches, so hopefully we've learnt to adapt better to it.

I think the withdrawal of Cox was necessary and made our forward line potent even if it meant Mihocek had to tussle all night with Blicavs.

Maynard is a bull. The hunger he has for the contest is second to none, and he's everything you want in a tough footballer.

The defence is a juggernaut. Many sides have struggled to score against us this year, which bodes well for our prospects later in the year.

Lets put it in perspective, without JDG, we only kicked 3 goals.

We still need to work on our goal scoring.

Young Daics obviously inherited his father's innate sense of where the goals are. With his quick snap tonight, he'd kicked it, before he even looked at the sticks. He usually picks up a goal from a snap most weeks. Incredible.
