With Richmond finally making a Granny, Carlton move up the Grand Final longest drought ladder. They go up a spot from third to second.
So now North Melbourne take the lead with a 19 year drought, hotly followed by Carlton with their 18 years.

Ya sure? Didn't they both play-off in 1999, for the Kangas victory?
Carlton last won in 1995...

Thanks!
I miscounted and I'm happy with the result as Carlton now officially share the longest Grand Final drought.
My hope therefore for 2018 must be for a Pies v NM Grand Final with us winning.
We get a flag & Scum get longest drought on their own.
Probably get 1000-1 on that happening!!
